Normally I avoid posting photos in this aspect ratio. I prefer 16:9 because they post better on other social media platforms, especially facebook. This photo is one fo the few exceptions. Why? Because to really share the image, it needs a larger canvas. I was closer to the scene when I took the shot, and photographed it with a wider lens.
The shadows on the water help to make this a cool photo. It was a cold day, and there was still some snow around. It’s one of those late fall days when winter has arrived early.
Lastly, today is a special day for me. Two years ago today I was at Ohio State at The James Cancer Center for surgery .. life is fragile and fleeting so enjoy every moment. My thoughts linked here
