Last week I posted a photo of an eastern comma butterfly. This is a Question Mark butterfly. Much larger, but the markings are there .. if you can spot them.

It loos like this Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly has survived but no idea what took a bite. I was surprised to see a swallowtail this early in the spring.

We saw this Eastern Comma butterfly this week. Since the temps have dropped we are not seeing them now, buty it was great to see this one.

What a wonderful surprise. We saw so many Red Admiral Butterflies this week. The weather stayed warm for seveal days and conditions were just perfect for them. I tried to count but there was just too many.
That was Monday. On Tuesday we had our first butterfly walk of the season and saw a few more. What a treat .. and in April.
