The colors of summer

This was just a fun shot. I love the contrast of the yellow flower and the green tones. The wild flowers are beautiful right now. One more photo:

Wild blue what?

This is Wild Blue Phlox .. at least that is what my iPad says it is. We saw this on the nature hike at Garbry Big Woods Sanctuary last week. Some of the early flowering plants are blooming. I love the color because it reminds me of our wedding day.

Question of the day...

So, the question today: what is your favorite season? My answer? That’s a tough one. I’m not sure if I really have a favorite season. I love spring and fall. I enjoy summer, and I don’t like winter. I actually like parts of winter, but I am not a cold weather person. Anyway, other than that, I don’t have an option. :) 

These tulips ... I love them. I hope you have a beautiful spring day, even if it rains!! The colors are happening, and the bird migration is in full swing in Ohio. It’s a beautiful time of year.

Flowers ... finally!

We took a walk yesterday at Aullwood Garden Metro Park. It was not real warm, but this warmed me all over. FLOWERS!!! Made my day. I cropped it a little so you can see the details and the color. Simply wonderful.  I guess they were just waiting for daylight savings time. 

Teresa took the photo at the bottom .. Great colors in this shot. We had fun. More photos from our little spring walk soon.
