Fall Textures

I love the textures in this photo. When we think of fall, we normally talk about the colors. This photo has colors, but I love the textures. The trees are mostly devoid of leaves although some still hold on to their colors.

This is the Miami River on the north side of Piqua. Teresa shot the top photo, and I took the second one. I love the photo she captured .. beautiful.

These photos have so many cool elements. I love the sun over the pond. It is interesting to see the fall grass contrasted with the green, recently cut grass.

The temperatrue has warmed up this week. These photos remind me that fall is here.

Hiking + Camera = ✌🏼🖖🏼

It is that time of year when a rainy day seems to be more common. Good hiking weather is less frequent, unless you are a duck.

I find a good hike therapeutic, and when coupled with time behind a camera while hiking provides a peaceful state of mind.

We did get in a walk on the bike trail late this week. These photos are from that walk. I think we walked almost four miles. It sure was relaxing.

Goldenrod

Check out the beautiful stiff Goldenrod. The is other colors in there too, but the goldenrod is just so beautiful. I guess you better get outdoors and take a look:).

The bottom photo was taken by Teresa. I took the top two. This is just a small sample of the amazing beauty of the Goldenrod this fall.

Still Lush and Green

I took this photo about a week ago. It was a hot day and the sky was blue. The leaves on some of the trees are really starting to change and some are falling to the ground. It will not be long until we see more colors in the trees. In the mean time, it is still very lush and green.
