The Paparazzi Arrived?

I tried to get closer to capture a better photo - I overheard the orange bill guy say, ‘Act natural,’ but they all bolted when the paparazzi showed up!

It has been a while since we saw a American Black Duck. The males have a yellow bill. They were just floating around on this fishing pod at Garbry Big Woods Reserve.

We are not seeing as much variety but this American Goldfinch found our cameras a couple days ago. Beautiful.

And There She Was

I have been trying to photograph a Carolina Wren for months. What normlly occurs is we are hiking and hear one, but can't locate it. This has happned so many times this year. Sometiems I even hear two of them only to be frustrated. One day this week we were at Big Woods and out of the blue this beautiufl Carolina Wren landed in a tree just a few feet away. Thanks my friend.
