My favorite time of day is the morning, shortly after sunrise. It is the best time to take a walk with nature, and a camera.
I was visiting family in Troy, awaiting the birth of our 7th grandchild. I took at walk in the John A Wannemacher Nature Reserve and just as I took off, I heard this cardinal singing. The coolest part: about 5 feet away, there was a Blue Jay. It was beautiful.
The lighting was not perfect for this photo, but I was able to do some post edits which improved on the outcome. He is so majestic and beautiful.
