We spotted these mallards on the Miami River last week. I love the male colors. There seemed so at peace .. we all can use a little peace in this very crazy world.

My friend the Belted Kingfisher was back this week. He was flying between trees but staying very close to the pond. Highly motivated to find food and his mate.

The water looks so blue. I guess the lighting and angle of the shot really set up for a beautiful photo. The goose is just waiting for spring.

I took a few photos of a couple of Malards in the Miami River earlier this week. Sadly, the photos were out of focus and looked really bad. A couple days later We saw this one in a pond at Big Woods. This time, I captured a much better photo.
