I did stick around long enoough to see she her catch anyting, but this Great Blue Heron was on the hunt. What a beautiful bird.

This was a surprise. I was driving through Garbry Big Woods Reserve when I spotted this Green Heron. To took off so I stopped the car to see if I could find him for a photograph. Lucky for me, he didn't go far.

This Great Egret caught me by surprise. I watched her land in a small pond. Capturing a good photo turned out to be very difficult. Next thing I knew she took to the sky. I managed a couple of in-flight photos. Such a beautiful bird.
