Don’t Fall

Adjustments.jpeg

I have seen more so many squirrels lately. This guy was not in a good place to get a photo, but I managed to get one anyway. He is over a small pond, so I hope he managed to keep his balance.

Thief In The Bird Feeder

Two different bird feeders .. two different squirrels. If you look closely, you can see that they both have been eating a lot of the bird food / grain. Fat little squirrels, especially the 2nd one. Cute.

Taking A Tree Walk

Adjustments.jpeg

I love photographing squirrels. They are so playful and always high energy. This guy was just making his way up this tree. He was not in a hurry .. just out for a walk in the trees.

Let's Rumble!

Adjustments.jpeg

We were setting in the car about 50 feet away from where this scene played out. A few birds were at the feeder having a snack. This squirrel approached slowly. He would take a step, lean in, look around, then take another jump closer. He seemed to be particularly interested in the cardinal that was just out of this frame. This went on for several minutes ... until he spotted me. Game over. He split.

Focused …

Adjustments.jpeg

It was going to rain most of the day, so we decided to walk early in the morning. While hiking near the Miami River, I saw this Squirrel. He was very focused on this nut. In fact, he was so focused that he didn’t notice us. It is time to prepare for winter, and nothing is more important for this dude.

Squirrel! Stay focused.
