This is a Fox Squirrel. She is not as large as some we have seen lately. Right after I took this photo, she ran off .. well, jumped up a tree.

A Chipmunk and a Squirrel ..

A chipmunk and a squirrel when into a bar .. .

Funny to see these to so close to each other. I could not get the photo I really wish I had taken. They were just a few feet apart. I am sure the chipmunk saw the squirrel, but I really don't know. Cute, regardless.

In Hiding

I think the squirrel population has grown significantly this spring. We have seen so many young squirrels. I saw two run into a nest in a tree while hiking, then about 10 feet up the trail, we saw this one hiding in a log. Cute.
