I often wonder how aware the birds are of how much the trees hide them from our view. When we hike we hear so many birds, but we actually photograph a small number of them. I bet we are lucky to get 1% to 3%. Maybe we are not patient enough, but the hiking / photographing passion is not about quanity .. it's abouit the experince and connection with nature.
