Unicorn ... For Real

These are Paletail Unicornfish. We stopped at the Maui Ocean Center before flying back home. We saw so many beautiful fish. Local marine life. So much diversity and colors. The whale display was very cool too. Sadly, the whales will not show up until January, so we were to early to see them.

The center is an amazing place to visit. I had to send this photo to several of my granddaughters .. they have a thing for unicorns.

The Aquarium

As I mentioned a couple of days ago, we went with our son and his family to Newport Aquarium. We had a great time. We did manage to capture a few photos, and I thought I would share those as a gallery. If you stay on the page, it should step through all of the photos.

Fish of many colors

Teresa took this photograph at the Waikiki Aquarium. The fish were so colorful. Most of my photos were not very good, but this one that she took was extra special. Very well done in a tough situation.

Penguins playing

This photo was taken at the Newport Aquarium. The Utah part of the family was in town, and this was the perfect activity. There was a lot of water splashing around, but the colors and activity made for a fun photo. We enjoyed the day, and I need to go back!! 

As I was preparing this post, I kept thinking that we would likely live longer if we spend more time playing, and less time stressing out about things we can’t control.
