Cold Geese

Adjustments.jpeg

I am still seeing geese, even after the cold moved in. I think I would fly south, quickly.

This was actually a couple weeks ago. I’m hoping to get out this week and capture some video. 🤞🏼

Even without the intense colors ...

IMG_0225.JPG

The colors were not as vivid at this altitude, but I love the view. It was a cold morning, but the winds had died down. I was flying the drone at about 150 feet when I snapped the photo.

This is Thumb Lake. Maybe I should have gone higher .. there is a much larger body of water to the right of on this view. Regardless, it is beautiful.

Here is a map view of the lake from a satellite photo (Apple Maps)

Time on the lake

When we stopped at Bountilful Lake, we didn’t realize there was going to be camp out happening. I mean there was tents everywhere. I managed to catch these two campers enjoying the sunset on the Lake.

By the way, Bountiful Lake is not very large. It’s extremely small when viewed next to the Salt Lake.

Mirror on the Lake

FullSizeRender.jpg

Sunrise was moments away, and dispite the light clouds, it looked like it was going to be beautiful. With a few minutes remaining, the lake suddenly became a large mirror. The lighting was just right, and the clouds and sky reflected off the mirrored surface. I don’t think this photo does it justice. Beautiful beyond words. Every color, every cloud .. it was all on the surface of the lake in great detail.

Sunrise

Sunrise over a lake. I enjoy the fresh air and a view of a sunrise. Nature even provided some extra cast for the new day. And so it begins .. again. It does seem like the geese are following me around.
