I have no idea, but I love the colors. This mushroom was not alone. There were several of them. That is the color too .. its not photo-shopped.

This photo is from this past summer. I am getting out less right now due to the rain and a lot of family activity. Sometimes looking back at older photos brings back memories of a warmer day.

Chrysanthemum morifolium
Mums are beautiful and the brilliant colors are so varied. I saw these at the store a few weeks back, and picked them up for the color and the beauty. The flowers only lasted a few weeks, but the plant lives on to bloom another day. Indeed, the story continues.
I guess that is how I feel about this recent battle with prostate cancer. It slowed me down for a few weeks, but I still have much to accomplish. I will be back at it in the new year, and feel excited about the future.
