Sunset Sail

The one thing we didn’t do in Maui that I wish I had done .. a sunset sailing experience. This sail boat stayed out for the sunset and I know they are available, I just didn’t book anything. So, I’m settling for a photo. Have a great week.

The parting clouds and setting sun ..

This is one of my favorite photos from Waikiki beach in Hawaii. The sun had set and we were standing on the beach watching the boats and people. The fading light was slow to give way to the darkness of night, but left us with this beautiful scene. The clouds seemed to part just enough to let us enjoy the colors that remained from the setting sun. What a sight.

Dreaming of a warm place

Winter is in full swing, with temperatures below 0 fahrenheit this morning. Time to transport to a boat, perhaps somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Anyplace warm! No, that dude in the foreground is not walking on water.
