The pond was super muddy looking, but there was no ice on this day. Since then the temperatures have dropped so there may be some ice when we go back. It is that time of year.

I took this photo from the bike trail about 4 miles south of Piqua, Ohio. It was late in December, but the weathere was more like fall. Check out the colors ... The mix of browns, yellows, some white and blue .. outstanding. I love it.

The weather continues to be nice. It has been windy, but most of this week before christmas the temps have been in the 50s (°F). It looks like it will be cooler this weekend, but I'll take nice weather over snow and cold any day.
I shot the 1st photo but we found a short trail where Teresa was ablel to setup and take the second photo. This was a fun hike.
If we don't get snow, I promise to try and post some old snow for the holiday.

What a beautiful day. The temperature was great and check out the blue sky. The first two photos are along the Stillwater river, just off or Rangeline Road in Miami County. The last photo is along the bike path in Piqua. I could take this all winter .. guess I need to move south.

Teresa took this photo while we were hiking last week. I am always amazed at the diversity we encounter. This is very different than many of the places we hike. I love all the trees.
