Bring On The Ice

These are photos I took in the last day or so. It was very cold and ice has started to form on both the Miami River and this fishing pond at Big Woods Reserve. The wind was not nice to hikers today!

Let There Be Ice

The ice arrived overnight so we took a drive around the county and shot a few photos. Some of these were shot by Teresa and some by me.

Long Shadows And Snow

Yes, there is a pond under that snow. They say its about to snow more, but we will see. I love the blue sky and the contrast with the snow. The shadows are cool too ..

Stay warm!

And Then Ice …

The pond was super muddy looking, but there was no ice on this day. Since then the temperatures have dropped so there may be some ice when we go back. It is that time of year.

Winter And Ice

It's here: ice. We were hiking on the bike trail this week and on two different days we ran into some thin ice. No, we did not fall. This is the time of year when you need to take extra care when you are out walking because it is the season for ice.

Stay warm and have a Happy Thanksgiving.
