Woodpecker focus

Teresa captures this photo of these two woodpeckers earlier this week. They ignored her and stayed focus on the work at hand. I guess that’s good focus. There are days I needed that kind of focus!

In the robin hood

While hiking on Friday, I saw more American Robins than I have seen at any other time this fall. I could not count them. They were so active. I assume they are finally migrating .. but they were everywhere.

Be sure to check out the video from the hike. There are not as many photos, but I did get some great video. Enjoy.

Wetland hike ..

FullSizeRender.jpg

Teresa and I took a short drive to Beavercreek, Ohio yesterday where we hiked at the Beaver Creak Wetland Nature Reserve. I saw no less than 5 Red-belly Woodpeckers, and capture this photo. They were avoiding my lens, so this is the best shot I was able to get.

The video below has a few other photos and some video from our hike. Enjoy.

Pelican water sports?

FullSizeRender.jpg

I wanted to share one more photo of the Pelicans from Grand Lake St Marys. I really should have tied to count them. I am confident that there was over 50. I assume they just took at break, for a couple weeks, at the lake. They are migrating.

The two that just landed in the photo look like they are water skiing.
