Love Doves?

While driving to Big Woods one day last week I was thinking it had been a while since I had photographed a Mourning Dove. Minutes later I saw this pair.

Winter’s Bite, Hunger’s Flight

This is not the best photo I have taken of a female Northern Cardinal but it was sure good to see her. She was feasting on something in the grass.

Purple?

This is a House Finch, but it sure looks a lot like a Purple Finch. Interesting to see one at Big Woods this week.

I have been posting daily photos on this blog for a little over seven years. I believe I am going to shut this site down after the 1st of 2025. I am not pleased with the service provider and both of my blogs are going to go away. I plan to continue to post daily photos. Most of you view and comments on facebook or instagram. That will be available and will not change.

I sure love the process and experice of capturing nature photos and sharing them. That will not go away .. it is my passion. Squarespace is jsut a tool I have used for a while that has lost its value.
