This photo was taken on a scenic drive through Kolob Canyons. The lighting was not perfect, but what a view. Kolob Cayons is in the the north-west portion of Zion National Park.
As you leave the visitors center, you take this winding road, ascending the mountain terrain. As you come around an early bend in the road, you see this view. It is jaw dropping stunning. I can’t express the size and beauty of the view. The map shows the dive from the visitors center to the overlook area.
