The American Kestrel is the most common falcon in North America (Source: Wikipedia). This is the 1st American Kestrel have seen in at least 15 months. The funny thing is that I saw him abouit 50 feet from the place where I saw the last one.
He was in a tree until I got where I could take a photo, then he took off and landed on this wire. Good thing I had the right lens for a long shot.
