Same Bird, Different Look

I like to try and get multiple photos of the same image from different angles. This time, this friendly Indigo Bunting helped me out by jumping to a different branch. I moved too .. and as you can see, the lighting of the bird is totally different. I like the second shot better. I like the shadows and highlights in this shot.

Now for something I did not know:

[The Indigo Bunting] displays sexual dimorphism in its coloration; the male is vibrant blue in the summer, with brightly colored plumage during the breeding season to attract a mate. It is brown during the winter months, while the female is brown year-round. (I had no idea. See the Wikipedia entry)
