We are still seeing a lot of cardinals. This one flew accross the trail just a few feet in front of us, then stopped long enough for this photo. If you look close, I think he smiled for the camera. 😬

The cardinals have been super active this past week. I think I saw 5 or 6 of them from where I was standing when I took this photo. So inspiring. I guess it was a cardinal party or something.
