This cat is out of place. We saw her while hiking at Stillwater Prairie Reserve. It was back near the fishing pond, so maybe she was fishing for lunch.

Bird Hotel … With Vacancies
It is an interesting time of year to walk around outdoors. The trees look like vacant hotels .. yes, bird hotels. Some of the larger trees have 3, 4 or even 5 empty next. In a few months, it all starts anew.

A Shy One
Well, I tried to get the 3rd horse in the photo, but that shot did not work out. I guess he was a shy one.
There was a fence between me and them so I had to doctor the photo. It came out nice.

Caught In A Web
This leave did not make it to the ground. I guess some spider or maybe a couple of them have been busy.
I hope to get out a few times this week and make at least one video of the colors. The leaves are starting to really change and put on their fall colors. We will see.

Hey, I Was Here First
I captured this photo while Teresa and I were hiking near the Stillwater River this week. It is not the first time we have seen mulitple insects on the same plant, but it is always intersting.
Nature is full of surprises. Every hike brings new and special experiences. Some can be captured in a photo. Life is good.
