The sparrows found this feeder, and given the temperature, this is the best place to get some food while trying to stay warm.

He is kind of hard to see, but this White-breasted Nuthatch was one of many I have seen this winter. They really do a great job of hiding in the trees.

I enjoyed watching this downy woodpecker work her way up this branch. It was not good lighting, so the photos is a little dark, but it was fun photographing her. She was quickly picking at the tree, looking for a snack. Cute.

This is not my best photo of a cardinal, but given the poor lighting, I still like it. I took this photo last week. It was cloudy. I saw several cardinals but only managed a few photos. They were very active, and a few photos like this one is all I could get. With more time, I would have been able to adjust from the poor contrast and exposure, but that was not in the cards.
