Woodpecker At Work

Wow, this time it was the male Pileated Woodpecker. If you recall, the last time we saw both the male and the female but the male took off before we could capture a photo of him. This time it was just the male. We are seeing them a lot this year.

Hiding In Plain Sight

Talk about small birds ... this is one small songbird. It is a Brown Creeper. They move around so fast. If this one didn't move I don't think I would have seen him (or her).

Starling

This young European Starling was a bit of a feeder hog. In the last few days we have seen this same bird at the feeder and it does not move and allow other birds easy access.
