Wow, it was good to see this American Goldfinch this week. I didn't expect this so early in the year but we have seen then this time of year before. It won't be long and we will see more color.

This young European Starling was a bit of a feeder hog. In the last few days we have seen this same bird at the feeder and it does not move and allow other birds easy access.

The sparrows have been very active and this Song Sparrow was just one of many that we photographed this week. It has been cold but that didn't slow them down. They are still singing their tune!
