I photographed this white-breasted nuthatch on one of the cold days this week. I didn’t want to hike, so we were just driving around. Teresa had pulled over in just the right spot.
If you have ever seen one of those crazy birds, you are aware that they move around a lot. They feed on bugs in the trees, and they a hyper in their hunting. He paused long enough to look up in our direction, which allowed me to capture this photo.
I think he was asking me if I had seen his dinner. 😳
