Juncos

We are not seeing as many Dark-eyed Juncos as we were a few weeks ago. This happens every spring. Bring on those warm temperatures.

Chillin’

We are still seeing Dark-eyed Juncos. We expect to see the first of the migrating birds any day. I also expect to see 'eagles on eggs' in our local nest any day too. I guess we are going to have a cold air mass 1st, but I am ready for spring.

Finding Solace Among The Bare Branches

This cold weather does not seem to affect the Dark-eyed Juncos. This one found his special place.

A One-bird Buffet: No Room For Guests!

We had a lot of fun watching this Dark-eyed Junco. She was super interested in the bird seeds but positioned herself to block the feeder from other birds. I guess this was her personal buffet.
