The Colors …

You get very different colors when the mallards are in the sun. Love these photos.

Redheads ..

This is a male and female Redhead. They are diving ducks, but I caught them with their heads above water. I know a few redheads, but most of them are human. 😱

This photo was taken from the bike path just south of Farrington Reserve. These Mallards were enjoying a double date in the Maimi River. I really love the colors of the male Mallard. Green!!

Fly Away

We saw these Mallards land, got excited for the photo opportunity, then they took off before we could get in position to capture any photos. Teresa managed to capture this photo as they flew away. Great colors.

I captured these photo of two Mallards on the Great Miami River while Teresa and I were walking the bike trail. I love the colors of the male Mallard.

The Mallard in the second and thrid photo was preoccupied looking for lunch or something so I was able to get relatively close.
