A Special Day

It's the day after thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Day is my favorite holiday. I don't care so mcuh about the food. I find time with family means so much to me. I know many don't get that experience. I hope you found some joy and peace in the day. I am just grateful for life and the opprotunites of living.

I guess it is extra special to me since the 22nd made it six years since my cancer surgery. You can read about that here. Have a great day.

Yes, You Are A Turkey

I did not expect to see wild turkeys on the bike path in Piqua but their they were. Since this photo, we have seen them again. Teresa shot these photos while I was holding Cooper. I think he had other ideas.

It's Mr Ugly in a tree ... and on the ground. I love the photo in the tree. I would add 'cute', but he really is ugly.

Survived The Holiday

We purchase our eggs and a few other food items from a farm not far from our home. Last week this turkey was enjoying some sun. I had to take the photo ... just because he survived the holiday.
