Birthdays Of Loved Ones

Mom would have been 93 today. She departed this life 22 years ago. To say I miss her is an understatement.

I see post form friends that have lost their loved ones as well .. so today's post is a beautiful Northern Cardinal for all of the empty places in hearts everwhere. Hugs to all, and I love you Mom!

Finding Peace

Teresa took this photo as we were hiking along the Great Miami River. It was so peaceful.

I love Thanksgiving Day. It is my favorite holiday. The food, family: the atomosphere is special. I realize that not everyone is blessed to have this in their life at this time. I hope you found a least some space or call it some peace in your life, regardless of your circumstances.

Fallen But Not Forgotten

Clearly this tree has been down for a long time. What is really cool is how new life grows where the old life ends. Life is a big circle that never ends.

I shot this photo while hiking at Garbry Big Woods Sanctuary. Such a beautiful place!
