Making It Difficult

I tried so hard to get a good photo but this Northern Cardinal didn't cooperate. Every time I tried to get somethng better he moved. So, this is all I was able to get.

The Majestic Eagle

We were hiking along the Great Miami River at Farrington Reserve when I saw a large bird fl;uy by just on the other side of the treeline. I thought it may be an eagle but I could not get a good view before it was out of sight. We walked a little further and as we approached the bridge over the river I saw this Bald Eagle. A few seconds later a second eagle flew out of the tree below this one. The pair both flew off. I am a bit of a raptor nerd.

Those Legs

While I am talking about sparrows, we saw this Swamp Sparrow this week. Check out those legs. I think she needs to hit the gym and do some squats. 😬
