Keep Trying

This time of year we see the same species of bird every day but not a lot of variety. For some reason I have not been able to get a good photos of a Carolina Chickadee. This one was taken a few weeks ago. I have seen them but no recent photos. I guess that will be my goal this week.

Red And Black Elegance

This is a Red-bellied Woodpecker and I love the colors and the contrast. So beautiful.

Vibrant Red, Drab Gray.

This male Northern Cardinal sure stood out. I could see a red spot in the trees from far away. So beautiful.

Chillin’

We are still seeing Dark-eyed Juncos. We expect to see the first of the migrating birds any day. I also expect to see 'eagles on eggs' in our local nest any day too. I guess we are going to have a cold air mass 1st, but I am ready for spring.
